The Lives in the Balance annual Children’s Mental Health Advocacy Conference is a powerful gathering of thousands of families, advocates, and professionals working towards a common goal: a world where kids can be kids, supported and safe.
Each year, presentations from dozens of state and federal lawmakers, advocates, those with lived experiences with punitive, exclusionary discipline, and experts on alternatives cover both the state of protections and supports for kids and pathways for the future.
