The Lives in the Balance 2025 Children’s Mental Health Advocacy Conference is now open for registration! It’s being held on on October 21st and, as always, it’s virtual, free, and will feature a wide array of speakers discussing the harms of punitive, exclusionary disciplinary practices and state, federal, and international legislation aimed at curtailing or eliminating such practices.. Our 2025 Annual Summit was held on April 11, with the theme of Current Thinking About Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance and featuring keynote speakers Dr. Barry Prizant, Dr. Shelley Moore, Dr. Judy Eaton, Sophie Leman (an adult diagnosed with Autism/ADHD with a PDA profile), and Dr. Greene.
